Rural Residential Rehab Program - Enhanced Weatherization
The Rural Rehab program, also called the Enhanced Weatherization program, works in the Lake and Peninsula Borough and non-road accessible communities in the Kodiak Island Borough to improve existing housing. Available improvements include extensive repairs, heating and electrical improvements, and housing rehabilitation items, in addition to energy conservation measures.
In 2007, improvements to 18 homes were made in Chignik, Chignik Lake, and Chignik Lagoon. In 2008 we plan to complete up to 33 homes in Perryville. Click on the program title for an application. For more information about this program please contact Dan Berube by email.
